Leadership

If you want to create competitive advantages, you need a team of leading professionals who know that the healthcare service business is all about efficiency, technology, and advanced capabilities.

Together, PHMG’s leadership team and Board of Directors bring a wealth of knowledge and experience in physician practice management, operations and financial consulting, strategic planning, organizational development, electronic medical billing, healthcare coding and physician billing software. Four members of the team are Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, one member holds a Doctorate in Health Administration, three members hold Masters in Business Administration, two hold Masters in Healthcare Administration, and one holds a Masters in Computer Science. In aggregate, the leadership team boasts more than 200 years of experience in hospital-based medicine.

Executive Officers

Davin E. Juckett, MBA
President
As PHMG's President, Davin Juckett is responsible for the leadership and direction of daily corporate operations. Mr. Juckett is a successful entrepreneur and brings significant experience in corporate finance, business strategy, business development, and accounting to PHMG. Mr. Juckett received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, cum laude, from Wake Forest University and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from The Wharton School.

Harold Moore, MS MBA
Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer
Mr. Moore brings to PHMG extensive experience in healthcare information technology management. Prior to joining PHMG, Mr. Moore held the position of CIO at a Maryland hospital. Mr. Moore received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Stevens Institute of Technology; a Master of Science in Computer Science from Columbia University; and a Master of Business Administration from Montclair State University.

Client Services

Annette Webb
Vice President, Patient Financial Services
Ms. Webb has extensive experience in health care consulting and management. She has managed client relationships in both hospital and physician settings, with engagements ranging from large urban hospitals to small, rural physician practices. Ms. Webb graduated with a Bachelor's degree from Emory and Henry College in Virginia. She is an active member in both the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) and Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA).

Rita Patel, MHA
Assistant Vice President, Patient Financial Services
Ms. Patel has substantial experience in healthcare consulting with a focus in revenue management and process redesign. Her expertise covers a range of healthcare compliance, healthcare litigation, and operational projects. In her role with PHMG as AVP, Patient Financial Services she is responsible for the daily operation, strategic planning, and process enhancements for the Revenue Cycle. Ms. Patel received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Carolina and a Master of Healthcare Administration degree, with a concentration in quality management, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is currently a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Amy Hampton
Assistant Vice President, Practice Administration and HR
Ms. Hampton brings to PHMG a solid background in the healthcare consulting and research with a particular focus on process improvement and CQI principles. Among her duties as AVP, Practice Administration and Human Resources, she is responsible for the leadership and direction of the recruiting, hiring, and credentialing process, payroll benefits administration, and general daily operation for an assigned set of clients. Ms. Hampton received a Bachelor of Science in Health Policy Administration with a Business Administration emphasis from Pennsylvania State University.

Finance

Suzanne Clark
Assistant Vice President, Practice Accounting
Ms. Clark was the principal of an accounting and tax practice in Florida and came to Charlotte in 1999 after living in Florida and Georgia. She has over 20 years of accounting experience. Suzanne joined PEMA/PHMG in 2000 and currently is the longest tenured employee of PHMG.

Misty McGuire Case
Assistant Vice President, Marketing Communications
Ms. Case contributes a strong background in marketing, communications and graphic design to PHMG and its clients. Prior to joining PHMG, her marketing skills were utilized by a global leader in the manufacturing industry. Her experience includes marketing to audiences in North and South America, Europe, Australia, Thailand and China. Ms. Case received a Bachelor of Arts, from Queens College of Charlotte while majoring in Marketing and Fine Arts with a Communications Concentration.

Michael A. Beatty, MD
Dr. Beatty received a Bachelor of Science, Summa cum laude, from the University of Illinois and Doctorate of Medicine from Northwestern University. Dr. Beatty completed his Emergency Medicine residency at Carolinas Medical Center - Charlotte and is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine. Dr. Beatty maintains a clinical schedule in Emergency Medicine in the Charlotte, North Carolina area.
Steve Justus, MD FACEP
Dr. Justus received a Bachelor of Science, Magna cum laude, from Davidson College and Doctorate of Medicine from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine - Chapel Hill. Dr. Justus completed his Emergency Medicine residency at Butterworth Hospital, Michigan. He is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine. Dr. Justus maintains a clinical schedule in Emergency Medicine in the Charlotte, North Carolina area.
B. Vindell Washington, MD, FACEP
Dr. Washington received a Bachelor of Science from Pennsylvania State University and a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Virginia. He earned a Master of Science in Healthcare Management at the Harvard University School of Public Health. Dr. Washington served as Chief Resident in Emergency Medicine at Hennepin County Medical Center. He is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine and a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians. Dr. Washington maintains a clinical schedule in Emergency Medicine in the Charlotte, North Carolina area.
J. Bennet Waters, MPH, DHA
Dr. Waters received a Bachelor of Arts with Honors from Davidson College; a Master of Public Health from Boston University; and a Doctorate in Health Administration from the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Waters holds faculty appointments in Health Administration at UNC-Chapel Hill and UNC-Charlotte, and he maintains an active teaching schedule at each institution. He is a frequent public speaker and has published a number of peer-reviewed articles on the administration of emergency and trauma services.
Brad A. Watling, MD, FACEP, FAAEM
Dr. Watling received a Bachelor of Science with Honors from Michigan State University and Doctorate of Medicine from Wayne State University School of Medicine. He served as Chief Resident at Wayne State University - Grace Hospital during his residency. He is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine and a Fellow of both the American College of Emergency Physicians and the American Academy of Emergency Medicine. Dr. Watling maintains a clinical schedule in Emergency Medicine in the Charlotte, North Carolina area.
